Autism Speaks

      Autism Speaks is a national organization and is dedicated to promoting solutions, across the spectrum and throughout the life span, for the needs of individuals with autism and their families. We do this through advocacy and support; increasing understanding and acceptance of people with autism; and advancing research into causes and better interventions for autism spectrum disorder and related conditions.

Ibis Foundation of Arizona

      The Ibis Foundation of Arizona, a private foundation, was established in December 2006 with the vision that each individual's quality of life is connected to the overall well-being of the community.

      Ibis Foundation of Arizona pursues this vision through grantmaking in research and in programs related to health and education. The foundation believes that access to health services and education are basic rights and should not be determined by a person's socioeconomic status.

Freed of London

             Freed of London is the world’s leading designer and manufacturer of professional dance shoes, tailored to a dancer’s individual needs. Hallman & Affiliates, P.C.

           Hugh Hallman is a longtime activist, volunteer and lifelong resident of Arizona, where his family settled in the 1860s. Hugh is the immediate past Mayor of Tempe (serving two terms from 2004 to 2012).

           As a practicing business law attorney, Hugh concentrates his practice in the areas of domestic and international finance and taxation. He has represented an array of clients, from small, family-owned businesses to large corporations. 

           In 2009, Hugh became the Headmaster of Tempe Preparatory Academy, one of the State’s most renowned public schools. He was awarded "Leader of the Year" recognition by the Arizona Charter Schools Association for his work at Tempe Prep.

          As an economist, Hugh has worked with many of the country's top economists at Stanford, Harvard, MIT and the University of Chicago in analyzing markets and competition in various industries, providing him insights into how Arizona’s economy can be improved.

         As a professor and lecturer, Hugh has taught business law and economics at East Kazakhstan State University and the Kazakh-American Free University, which he helped found. Hugh has also lectured on agribusiness policy at Arizona State University. 

         As a community volunteer, Hugh has devoted time to local charities like East Valley Habitat for Humanity, Assistance for Independent Living and Tempe Community Action Agency. He has served on the Tempe Aviation Commission and as a board member on the Airport Noise Abatement Committee. During his time as Mayor, Hugh also organized The Mayor's Run in conjunction with the P.F. Chang's Rock 'n' Roll Marathon. This effort raised more than $1.3 million for local charities and helped more than 1,200 Arizonans learn get and stay in shape by running marathons and half-marathons.

        Hugh and his wife, Susan, have three sons: Louis, Eli and Marcus. They live in the north Tempe neighborhood where Hugh was raised.

Alex Hristov - Guitarist/Musician/Composer

           Alex Hristov is best known for his ability to play deeply emotional, traditional Flamenco while venturing into Latin music, Jazz, and other genres with ease. Alex’s deep musical and cultural knowledge allow him to blend the sounds and rhythms of southern Spain with Latin and contemporary grooves.
          Alex trained and studied Flamenco music, guitar, and culture with Gaetano in Arizona, and master guitarist and technician Gerardo Núñez in Sanlúcar de Barrameda, in the heart of Andalucía in southern Spain. Later, while at Brown University, he studied classical guitar to broaden his artistic perspective.
          Alex's original songs and cover arrangements give the impression he has been affected by everyone from puro Flamenco phenom Tomatito and rumba master Jesse Cook to Brazilian legend Luiz Bonfa, Gypsy Jazz pioneer Django Reinhardt, and progressive metal legend, Tosin Abasi.

Musicology 

Musicology is an enhanced musical learning program for newborns through 4 year old, grounded in the neuroscience of how the brain wires up for learning in the early years. Parent and child attend weekly classes designed to develop a Baby and Toddler's language, rhythm, pattern awareness, physical coordination, focus & attention, social skills and more. An experienced teacher orchestrates the fun and learning through instrument play, singing, creative movement and dancing! Musicology studios are located in Scottsdale, Chandler and NW Phoenix.

Schnepf Farms - An Arizona Treasure

Mark and Carrie Schnepf with their four children are the sole operators of Schnepf Farms in Queen Creek, the largest operating farm in Arizona. In October 2006 Schnepf Farms was designated as an “Arizona Treasure” by then Governor Janet Napolitano and the Arizona Office of Tourism, who personally made the trip out to the farm to present the award.
